You asked about Foiling .... so here is an insight to The Foiling Method

I made Sidney Squirrel ...

First I designed a pattern to work from ..

That's a starter ...

Always a drama ....

Then after the pieces are cut out its a good idea before foiling

to grind and smooth the edges ..

A Chamomile tea my favourite drink ....

Methylated Spirits in a spray bottle.. Vital bit of kit

Painting on the liquid flux ..

Soldering on ...

After soldering Sidney together and popping him into a bath

he gets a gentle wipe and dries off ...

Then the hubby shows up after hearing about the bath & gentle wipe and I send him on his way ...

I use my 'solder black liquid' to make him look nice ..
